Christie's vivid blue diamond auction

Next month Christie's Auction Gallery will be auctioning a spectacular ring containing a 10.95 carat, triangular shaped blue diamond, matched with a 9.87-carat, triangle cut, white diamond. set onto a gold band, channel set with baguette-cut diamonds.  The ring is projected to sell for over $15 million when it is auctioned in New York Oct. 20. The 10.95 carat stone is the largest triangular cut blue diamond ever to be offered at auction by Christie's.
